Chanuka!!!!
Hi everybody! I just wanted to wish you a freilachen Chanuka!!!
Remember what the essence of this chag is. The battle between us and the Greeks was them trying to show us that teva (7) was perfection. What we said then and what we must say now, in lighting eight candles is that there is more than just teva. We as Yidden have the ability because HaKadosh Baruch Hu is taking care of us to show that there is that element of me'al hateva (8).
When we light the menorah we are showing the world that there is something greater if we would just put the effort into finding it. Remember what R' Meisels taught us, that Biyemei Mashiach everyone WILL b'ezras Hashem be me'al hateva. I give us all a bracha that everyone in lighting their menorah should see the light of Hashem in their lives and that through pirsumei hanes light up the entire world. This should be the chag which brings us into the yemmei Mashiach, amen!
Happy Chanuka!!!
